Safety Checklist Before You Plan a Tour

Is your checklist ready?

There is nothing more relaxing than going on a vacation with friends and family. However, while on a vacation it’s better to be safe than sorry as life is really unpredictable. If you are planning to enjoy a vacation too, these points might come in handy.

  • Register your contact details at the local embassy, consulate or high commission before any overseas travel.
  • Keep copies of your original passport, Visa and other relevant documents before planning a trip. Carry the copies and the originals in separate folders, and leave one copy of all your documents at home.
  • Go for a health checkup before your journey. Consult your doctor, get the required medicines, and even know about the laws on travelling with medicines.

As the age-old saying goes ‘prevention is better than cure’ so it is better to be cautious         than running into any trouble during your trip.

Strange Laws Of Delaware

Dare you break any Delaware laws

You might have come across some crazy and bizarre laws and regulations from around the world. Delaware has it’s fair share of such laws as well.  So the next time you’re in Delaware, keep the following laws in mind.

If you are visiting Delaware with your kids be watchful that your son doesn’t throw stones at someone during the span of your vacation as, “It is unlawful for small boys to throw stones, at any time, at any place.” Also be careful about the friends they make as “Children are not permitted to have ‘imaginary’ friends.”

Remember to pack your clothes correctly while you are preparing for your trip. Don’t carry trousers or tops that don’t fit you as “It is illegal for fat people to wear tight trousers”. Men be careful of what you wear as the law of the State says “Men must not wear ‘firm fitting’ pants”.

While at Delaware, Rehoboth Beach is a must-visit. The mile long boardwalk and the sandy beach is a retreat for sure. However, if you are all wet after a nice bath in the sea, remember to change your clothes in your hotel room as at “Rehoboth Beach, no person shall change clothes in his or her vehicle”.
